RIDE WITH POTOMAC

We welcome guests, whether on foot or astride . We have several events where guests on foot are welcome to mingle with the hounds, have cookies and drink and then watch the mounted field takeoff. It’s fun and makes great photo ops for the whole family. We also welcome those who want to cap with us, whether you’re from another hunt or just want to try out foxhunting, we’d love to have you! We ask if you want to come as a guest to reach out to any members that you know, contact a master for permission or you’re not sure who to reach out too … contact our hunt secretary who will connect you to the right people.

And remember, if you just want a slower, gentler foxhunting experience, we almost always have a third field, which allows you to hilltop at a nice even pace. You’ll enjoy a great vistas and camaraderie.

If you think you might be interested in hunting with us, but have never foxhunted or you have a new horse that wants to be introduced to the sport , the best way to ease into Foxhunting is through our Foxchasing School. The fox chasing school is a comprehensive training program intended to introduce horse and rider to the the sport of foxchasing.
