About us
The Potomac Hunt is one of Maryland’s most widely recognized fox hunts and has been in operation since 1931. During the season we hunt an award-winning pack of American Foxhounds twice a week at various locations throughout upper Montgomery County.
Social events are hosted throughout the year including parties, clinics, hunter paces, hound walks, and The Potomac Hunt Races. During the off season, we coordinate community fundraisers and trail rides for anyone interested in participating.
In addition to fox chasing, Potomac Hunt is active in land conservation efforts to help ensure the future of our sport. We could not enjoy fox chasing without our wonderful landowners who so graciously allow us access to their land.
