How to Join$20 Cap Fees - For the month of September ONLY, for non-members, with masters' approval.
Six Cap Package - Must be used in one season, $475/person.
Weekday Only Hunting Plan - Open to members of other hunts, $1,250/person.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
Family - Adult men and women and their dependent(s). Enjoys all social and hunting privileges. Children must be accompanied by an adult until the age of 16. At 16 with Master's approval may ride unaccompanied in the field. Initiation fee required.
Individual - Adult over the age of 35. Enjoys all social and hunting privileges. Initiation fee required.
Intermediate Individual - Adult between the ages of 21 and 35. Enjoys all social and hunting privileges. Initiation fee required.
Intermediate Family - Adult man or woman between the age of 21 and 35 and their dependent(s). Enjoys all social and hunting privileges. Children must be accompanied by an adult until the age of 16. At 16 with Master's approval may ride unaccompanied in the field. Initiation fee required.
Junior Hunting - A person who has reached their 12th birthday but not their 21st. Must be supervised by an Adult Hunting Subscriber while hunting. At 16 with Master's approval may ride in the field unaccompanied by an adult.
Junior Foxhunter Program - This program is created for juniors interested in learning ALL aspects of fox hunting, particularly handling, showing and hunting hounds. Juniors don't have to ride in the field to participate. Meetings are held monthly throughout the season, culminating in the Maryland Hound Show where participants will show the hound they've handled all year. Associate - Individuals and Families. Enjoys all social privileges. Hunting privileges limited to three times a season (with cap fee). Initiation fee required. Associate members are invited to two weekend hunts (on specific days), with masters' approval, which will not count towards the three cap limit.**
Out of Town - For hunting subscribers who have moved their primary residence more than 50 miles from hunting territory. Enjoys the same privileges as Associate Subscribers.
Any person wishing to become an Individual, Family, Intermediate Individual, Intermediate Family or Junior Hunting subscriber to the Potomac Hunt Club must submit an application and have sponsorship from two active hunting members. The application shall be accompanied by letters of endorsement by the two hunting members and submitted to the Honorary Secretary. Acceptance of the application must meet with the approval of the Hunt Committee and the membership.
Any person wishing to become an Associate member must have two sponsors from the hunt either hunting or associate with letters of recommendation accompanying the application which is submitted to the Honorary Secretary and approved with the acceptance of the Hunt Committee and the membership.
Guests are most welcome with approval from a Master. All guests must sign a Waiver & Release Form or in the case of a minor, a parent or guardian must sign the form, prior to hunting. Capping fees are $100 for adults and $25 for Juniors to be paid in cash or by check from the member accompanying the guest. All cap fees must be paid to the Field Secretary or a Master.
